· Responsible for purchase of raw material, consumables & brought out items

· To ensure the smooth supply of raw material and consumables in the organization

· Forecast price and market trends to identify changes of balance in buyer- supplier power

· Monitoring Supplier evaluation, Re - evaluation & Performance

· Initiation of Corrective actions needed to Quality Management System

· Monitoring of Supplier Development activities

· To comply with the requirements of Quality Management system

· Monitoring of material preservation activity

· Freight monitoring of deliveries made to supplier

· Achieve Departmental Objectives & initiating necessary actions in case of not achieving targets
